主讲人简介：
马培德教授（德国籍）是雷火电竞官网在线前CV Starr教授。曾任香港城市大学法学院院长和讲席教授；鹿特丹伊拉斯谟大学和阿姆斯特丹大学教授兼系主任；海德堡马克斯·普朗克研究所研究员；海牙伊朗-美国索赔法庭庭长的法律助理。1990年海湾战争后，他曾在日内瓦联合国赔偿委员会担任伊拉克的法律顾问；担任埃塞俄比亚（1998年与厄立特里亚的战争）特别法律顾问；并且是埃塞俄比亚任命的海牙厄立特里亚-埃塞俄比亚索赔委员会的首位委员。
目前，马培德教授是最高人民法院国际商事专家委员会委员，海德堡大学学术咨询委员会委员，香港大学法学院的兼职教授。还担任深圳国际仲裁院（SCIA）理事会理事和华南（香港）国际仲裁院（SCIAHK）董事局董事。曾是卢森堡国际、欧洲和监管程序法马克思普朗克研究所前外部研究员。他先后在南开大学（1997年）、中国政法大学（1998年）、雷火电竞官网在线（1999年）、深圳大学（2003年）、南京大学（2005年）和中国人民大学（2007年-杰出法学家论坛）担任荣誉客座教授。曾在密歇根大学法学院、博阿尔特霍尔法学院（加州大学伯克利分校）、莫斯科国立（罗蒙诺索夫）大学、埃塞俄比亚亚的斯亚贝巴大学、埃塞俄比亚、香港大学（杰出访问教授）和耶路撒冷希伯来大学等机构担任访问学者。
他还是包括《中国国际法论刊》在内的几份国际期刊的荣誉编辑和顾问委员会成员。
Biology of Speaker：
Prof. Dr. Peter Malanczuk (Germany) is a former C.V. Starr Professor of Law at the Peking University School of Transnational Law. His previous positions include Dean and Chair Professor of the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong; Professor & Head of Department at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Amsterdam University; Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute Heidelberg; and Legal Assistant of the President of the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal in The Hague. He also served as legal counsel of Iraq before the UN Compensation Commission in Geneva after the 1990 Gulf War, as Special Legal Counsel of Ethiopia (1998 war with Eritrea), and the first member appointed by Ethiopia to the Eritrea-Ethiopia Claims Commission in The Hague.
Currently, Prof. Malanczuk is a member of the Academic Advisory Council of the University of Heidelberg and Adjunct Professor of the Department of Law of Hong Kong University. He also serves as a member of the China Supreme People's Court International Commercial Expert Committee and Council member of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and Director of the South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK).
He has received Honorary Guest-Professorships in China at Nankai University (1997), China University of Politics and Law (1998), Peking University (1999), Shenzhen University (2003), Nanjing University (2005), and People’s (Renmin) University of China (2007 – Eminent Jurist Forum). His visiting professorships elsewhere include Michigan Law School, Boalt Hall Law School (University of California at Berkeley), Moscow State (Lomonosow) University, Addis Abba University, Ethiopia, Hong Kong University (Distinguished Visiting Professor), and Hebrew University Jerusalem. He is a Former External Scientific Fellow of the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law.
He has been appointed to the honorary editorial/advisory boards of several international journals, including the Chinese Journal of International Law.
