Anglia Ruskin University Law School, Peking University Law School and Xi'an Jiaotong University Law School are holding the Fair Use of Copyright in the Digital Domain Project Conference in Beijing on Saturday 24 September 2016 at the Fairmont Hotel, No 8 Yong An Dong Li, Jian Guo Men Wai Avenue, Chao Yang District.
The Fair Use of Copyright in the Digital Domain Project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Newton Fund and the AHRC Centre for Digital Copyright and IP Research based at the University of Nottingham's Ningbo campus in China.
The conference aims to inform the general public as to the value of fair use in copyright in the digital domain to assist with research and development, news gathering and generally to help consolidate China’s cultural heritage (as fair use of copyright is essential to enhancing cultural heritage generally).
