一年一度的“牛津周”普通法概论课程即将开讲！本次课程由来自牛津大学法学院、新加坡国立大学法学院和墨尔本大学法学院的知名学者与教授共同讲授，他们以各自研究与实践领域为基础，具体介绍普通法的方法运用，以增进法学院学生对普通法的理解。

Assoc Prof Michael Dowdle – National University of Singapore

Michael W. Dowdle is an associate professor of law at the National University of Singapore. His research focus is in the areas of comparative public law and law and development.  Prior to  joining  the  NUS  law  faculty,  we  held  the  Chair  in  Globalization  and  Governance  at Sciences Po. In summer of 2002, he succeeded Ronald Dworkin as the Himalayas Foundation Distinguished Visiting Professor in Comparative Constitutional Law at the Tsinghua University School of Law.

Mr. Andrew Godwin –The University of Melbourne

Andrew Godwin holds a number of senior positions at Melbourne Law School, including Director of Studies, Banking and Finance Law, Director, Transactional Law and Associate Director (Asian Law Centre). 

Andrew has beeninvolved in legal practice for over 20 years, 10 of which were spent in Shanghai where he was a partner and chief representative of the international law firm, Linklaters. Andrew’s teaching and research interests include finance and insolvency law, transactional  law,  financial  regulation  (particularly  disclosure  and  regulatory  systems),  the regulation of the legal profession and professional and transactional skills for lawyers.

Professor Stefan Enchelmaier – Oxford University

Stefan  Enchelmaier  studied  law,  philosophy,  and  Latin  at  the  Universities  of  Cologne, Hamburg, and Edinburgh; obtained his doctorate from the University of Bonn with a thesis on  European  competition  law,  and his habilitation  from  the  University  of  Munich  with  a thesis on comparative Anglo-German personal property law. After a stint in practice, I held posts in Oxford (1997-2003); Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law, Munich (2003-2008); and York (2008-2013).

三、选课要求与报名方式

课程容量限制50人,法学院高年级本科生和研究生优先。学生须保证全勤出席，选课不得与教务系统已选课程时间相冲突。
